Thank you for your interest in building with us!  At the beginning of a project, we want to know all about you from your morning routine, to your dreams of becoming the next Top Chef, to how you take your coffee.  Whether you have your own land, you bring your own plans, or you're starting from scratch, we can help get the process started.  We start by inviting you to our offices for a discovery meeting.  Bring your Pinterest Boards, magazines, sketches, Houzz accounts, we've seen it all.  We want your home to exceed all your expectations, so we take some time to make sure we can incoporate your desires into your new home, but also into your budget.  We can recommend realtor partners and architects to bring your designs to life, and love to join you on your meetings, to make sure and advocate on your behalf to get everything you want.

Once we have a solid understanding of the home you want to build, we create a project cost estimate and high-level specifications for the home.  We send plans to our subcontractors to get competitive bids for your project, making sure no detail is missed.  This process can revolve multiple times, making sure we meet all your needs as well as your budget.  We want you to feel confident in your project as we move forward.  We also submit your plans for permit, as well as DRC approval.  Finally, we introduce you to our project management software, Co-Construct, that gives you a front seat to your project.  This allows us to share important progress and timelines, selection management, change orders, and budget information through the duration of the project.  You will always have access to your project online even years after, should you need to remember "what was the name of the wall color in the powder bath?"

This is why you hired a home builder.  We manage all the details for you.  Once we pop the champagne at our ground breaking ceremony (It's true!), we run full steam ahead to complete your project on-time, on budget, and with exceptional attention to detail.  You can expect a weekly update about progress made and work anticipated in the enxt week every Friday.  We'll also have an on-site meeting on a weekly basis once framing is completed, to walk through progress, and also ask the thought provoking questions to make sure you LOVE your home from day one, to year 20.  We'll keep you on schedule, making your selections in a timely manner.  And YES, we will ask you exactly where you want the outlet for your Roomba and what kind of edging you want around the shower in your guest bath.  You probably never thought about the screws used in your exterior siding.  All these details matter.  Once you see it, you can't unsee, so we address whatever the concern may be as early as possible.  You can also expect detailed invoicing and a monthly draw for your project so you can always keep track of your budget.

As your home comes closer and closer to completed, you are eagerly awaiting the day you get to move-in!  Before that happens, we organize a "final" walk through, usually champagne and snacks are involved, to identify all the remaining items that aren't 100%.  Even before that, we ask our team to walk through with blue tape and makr any areas that need additional attention.  We're not joking when we say exceptional attention to detail!
